Comprehensive privacy notice

This is a translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the one that governs.

1. Identity and address of the data controller

Traceteck, S.A. de C.V. ("Traceteck"), with its address at República de Uruguay 701, colonia Las Américas, C.P. 20230, Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico, is the controller of the personal data collected through the traceteck.mx website, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, its regulations and other applicable rules.

2. Who this notice applies to

People who visit traceteck.mx and those who write to us through its forms: the contact form and the Qrono and Qonforme waitlists.

Use of each product — Vigilans at vigilans.mx, Qrono at qrono.com.mx and Qonforme at qonforme.com — is governed by the privacy notice published on the product's site and by the corresponding service agreement.

3. Personal data we collect

  • Identification and contact: name, email address and phone number.
  • Your request: company or organization, the product you are interested in and the message you write.
  • Technical data: IP address, country the connection comes from, the page you sent the form from, browser type, and the date and time of the visit.

Sensitive data. Traceteck does not collect sensitive personal data through this site. Please do not include any in your message.

4. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes, needed to handle your request:

  • Answering requests for information, quotes or demos.
  • Letting you know when Qrono or Qonforme sign-up opens, if you joined its waitlist.
  • Protecting the forms against automated submissions and misuse.

Secondary purposes, not needed to handle your request:

  • Sending you commercial information and news about our products.
  • Producing internal statistics to improve the site.

If you do not want your data used for the secondary purposes, write to contacto@traceteck.mx with the subject "Secondary purposes". Declining does not affect how we handle your request.

5. Transfers and processors

To run the site, Traceteck relies on providers that process data on its behalf and under its instructions: hosting for the site and the forms, bot verification, email delivery and web analytics. These providers are bound to protect the data and not to use it for their own purposes. Some may be located outside Mexico.

Traceteck does not sell or rent personal data. It only transfers it to third parties without your consent in the cases the law allows, such as a request from a competent authority or the defense of rights in legal proceedings.

6. ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent

You have the right to access your data, rectify it if it is inaccurate, cancel it when you consider it is not needed for the stated purposes, and object to its processing for specific purposes. You can also withdraw the consent you gave us, to the extent the law allows.

To exercise them, send a request to contacto@traceteck.mx including:

  • your name and a way to send you the answer;
  • an official ID or, where applicable, the document proving representation;
  • a clear description of the right you want to exercise and the data involved;
  • any document that helps locate the data.

We will answer within 20 business days of receiving the complete request and, if it is granted, carry it out within the following 15 business days. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when circumstances justify it.

7. Limiting use or disclosure

Besides the procedure above, you can ask us at any time to stop sending you commercial communications by writing to contacto@traceteck.mx or using the unsubscribe link in each email. You can also sign up for the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising run by PROFECO, Mexico's consumer protection agency.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses Google Analytics, a Google LLC service that, through cookies and similar technologies, collects technical information about your visit (pages viewed, time on site, where the visit came from, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address). We use it only for aggregate usage statistics to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you or for advertising. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy.

You can disable these cookies in your browser settings or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; the site keeps working normally.

On pages with a form, Cloudflare Turnstile analyzes technical browser signals to confirm the sender is not a robot. In addition, when the site loads, your browser downloads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address.

9. Security and retention

Traceteck applies administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use, access or processing, including encrypted communications and restricted access to the messages we receive.

Data from requests that do not lead to a contract is kept for up to 12 months; Qrono and Qonforme waitlist data, until the product's sign-up opens and we let you know, or until you ask to be removed. If you subscribe to a product, your data is then governed by that product's privacy notice.

10. Changes to this notice

This notice may change because of legal changes or changes in our practices. The current version will always be published at traceteck.mx/en/privacy.html with its last-updated date.

11. Authority

If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you can turn to the competent authority under current law.
